this piece was created during a moment of frustration that grew into anger. as i tried to sit with my feelings and calmly breathe, i felt an overwhelming urge to erupt. instead, i reached for a paintbrush and channeled that energy onto the canvas. the bright red represents the rage and intensity that can surround us in heated moments, while the blue figure symbolizes the effort to breathe through the emotion and find calmness. this piece serves as a reminder that we can’t always breathe away the emotions we label as negative, but we can embrace them and allow ourselves to express those feelings in healthy, constructive ways.
